Business Unit Manager Imaging
About The Position
Yapama is a subsidiary of Mitrelli. We are a Healthcare Commercial Company with operations in Angola, Ivory Coast and Senegal. We have a broad spectrum of equipment, solutions, and services, from equipment and consumables, end-user training, site visits and remote maintenance support to more complex consultation and evaluation to complete department projects, including site planning.
In each of these countries we represent some of the most relevant global companies in Laboratory, Imaging and Medical Devices.
Currently, we´re looking for a Business Unit Manager to lead our Imaging Team in Angola. This position has a broad range of responsibilities, from analyzing market trends and training and mentoring staff, to creating and implementing strategies to reach business goals.
The ideal candidate for this role must have experience utilizing in-depth knowledge of own and team sales perfomance, and using analytical thinking and commercial experience to execute policy/strategy.

Key Responsiblities:
- You´ll be responsible for operations and compliance oversight for the team, developing opportunities for streamlining and creating efficiencies.
- You´ll participate in strategic development and planning activities consistent with the vision, mission and strategic goals of Yapama.
- Together with the CEO, create the annual business plan.
- Support and coordination the Service sales process of the Business Unit.
- Responsible for setting goals/KPI´s 6 monitoring Sales objectives: you must actively monitor those goals to ensure that progress is made, and the goals are on track to reach the desired outcome by the set deadline.
- Responsible for promoting and implementing actions to support improved employee engagement.
- Developing and implementing the business plan and support the marketing strategy.
- Analyze and explore the market.
- Ultimate responsible for the success of the sales activities, including the Revenue and Profit of the Business Unit.
- Interface with imaging vendors.
Requirements
- Degree in Radiology, Biomedicine, Engineering, Imaging or Management and Marketing.
- 8-10 years’ experience in Imaging or Sales experience in this field.
- At least 3 years experience leading medium size teams.
- Must be fluent Portuguese and English is mandatory (eliminatory factor).
- High technical knowledge of Imaging (previous experience in Imaging Business is a plus).
- You must demontraste ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
- You must demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
- Must have clear oral and written communication skills.
- Established project management skills.
- Must have international professional culture.
- Results driven.
- Strong skills in the healthcare market.
