Currently, we are seeking an experienced HSEQ Manager This role ensures compliance with HSEQ regulations, policies, and performance commitments. The HSEQ Manager will provide regulatory information and technical assistance, ensuring that all health, safety, environmental, and quality standards are met throughout the project lifecycle.

This role is based in Luanda.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Document Review: Regularly review existing HSE documentation to identify gaps, redundancies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay current with local, state, and federal regulations and industry best practices, and update documents accordingly to maintain compliance.
  • Communication: Collaborate with service managers and employees to gather information and feedback, ensuring that documents reflect the most current safety and environmental practices.
  • Data Analysis: Collect and analyse HSE data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and translate findings into actionable document updates.
  • Reporting: Generate reports on HSE document compliance and performance, presenting findings to management.
  • Create/update training material.
  • Perform/coordinate audits.
  • Process management.
  • Manage emergency response plans and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field e.g., Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Business Administration, Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Min. 5-7 years proven experience in document development and management, especially in an Health & Safety / Occupational Safety or regulatory context.
  • Ensure HSE and infrastructure security.
  • Fostering the culture of HSE at work
  • Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in document management software and Microsoft Office.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Certification in HSE-related disciplines.
  • Proven ability to analyze problems, determine resolutions, and a path forward.
  • Fluency in Portuguese and knowledge of English is preferred.
  • Must have Angolan Nationality.
