About The Position

Yapama is a subsidiary of Mitrelli. We are a Healthcare Commercial Company, specializing in the distribution of medical equipment (laboratory, Imaging and Medical Devices), solutions, and services. Currently, we are seeking a skilled Imaging Applications Specialist. This a field-based position focused on selling Diagnostic Imaging products into hospitals, imaging centers, radiation oncology, etc. This role serves as the primary contact for our customers as they investigate the acquisition of our Medical Solutions products and services.This is an excellent opportunity for an individual that is highly competitive, desires top income, works well in a team-selling environment and strives to win and be successful.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve agreed objectives and annual sales budget the product.
  • Develop strategic business relationships with key stakeholders both in the public and private sector.
  • Provide detailed knowledge and understanding of the Magnetic resonance and computer tomography, X-ray, fluoroscopy, mammography, and ultrasound and Angiography systems marketplace.
  • Develop in depth understanding of the needs and objectives of customers on all levels - both non-clinical and clinical partners, to develop tailored solutions, which improve sales and sales potential.
  • Create hospital level business plans to identify key stakeholders and drive incremental sales through a combination of commercial meetings and in-field visits.
  • Spend time in theatre/clinic environment promoting and driving incremental sales.
  • Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with the National product specialist, including regular commercial meetings and updates.
  • Attend regular training to develop knowledge, messaging and to grow your product advocacy both clinically and commercially.
  • Build strong relationships with Hospitals, Clinicians, and other key stakeholder groups.
  • Deliver training to practice staff and nurses to support clinical trials and product utilisation.
  • The role will require working outside of the designated region as and when required.


  • Radiographer academic background (Radiologist MD, Medical Physicist and/or Biomedical graduation can also be considered).
  • Significant care sales experience with a sound knowledge of account management.
  • Effective selling skills with a track record of selling products into specialist care setting. 
  • Previous practical experience operating similar modalities (as many as possible)
  • Practical experience in all or part of the imaging modalities (as user).
  • Must have experience with GE, Siemens or Phillps imaging equipment.
  • Must have previous experience in Ultrasound operation.
  • Must have previous experience in Ultrasound operation.
  • Demonstrated through strong communication, positive peer support, showing responsibility and accountability.
  • A flair for creativity, thinking up new ideas and solutions to challenges.
  • Ability to interact effectively and influence all levels of internal and external personnel.
  • Ability to prioritise work, paying attention to the detail, and successfully complete tasks on time. 
  • Must have an advanced level of English and be fully fluent in Portuguese.
