The role:

As Human Resources Generalist, you´ll play a vital part in our success, supporting our employees with their HR queries so that they can focus on their own jobs. Taking care of their issues, whether big or small, and making sure they get a great employee experience in every interaction with HR.

Your responsibilities encompass the implementation of essential HR processes within their specific functional domain. Additionally, you´ll serve as an advocate for the company culture, striving to foster a positive and enriching experience for all employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support HRBP´s in managing all processes of Employee Lifecycle including on-boarding and promotions/transfers/terminations, compliance, reporting, performance appraisals, compensation reviews and employee relations as needed.
  • Supports the HP Ops team in ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations while upholding best practices for sustained compliance.
  • Ensure the organization's compliance with local regulations and social provisions (collective agreements, social security, annual leaves, discipline, etc.)
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures, including compensation, benefits, performance management, leave policies, payroll, HR applications and other aspects related to the employee lifecycle.
  • Collaborate and support on a range of employee engagement activities with stakeholders to boost retention and engagement levels.
  • Cascade HR communication to the teams and/or offices.
  • Execute transactions in Primavera and other HR applications to ensure the maintenance of high-quality data.
  • Collaborate with HRBP´s and functional specialists to solve complex queries.
  • Support initiatives aimed at enhancing processes by streamlining and standardizing them.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in an HR related area.
  • At least 5 years of related experience in a HR generalist role.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage fluctuating workload.
  • Great knowledge of employment legislation.
  • Great knowledge local labor law.
  • Experience in Primavera.
  • Must have excelent computer knowledge.
  • Fluent English and Portuguese written and spoken.
  • Only Angolan nationals will be considered.
